Daily Note

Every day, a photograph, a poem. Amazing news today about Einstein’s theories– about the space-time continuum, evidenced by gravitational waves throughout the universe. Apparently, scientists [Nanograv] have, after fifteen years of data, found the waves, and a resulting “hum” of the universe, all of which resonates through each of our own atoms.

We are all connected. And, the Desiderata seems also then to be true: “You are a child of the universe no less than the trees and the stars; you have a right to be here.

And so.. a poem:

Poetry

The Hum

the background,
blurred,
the foreground
distinct,
a flower so
delicate,
yet apparently
waves flow
through
connecting
all there is
to each atom
of us
and altogether
beneath
all there is,
a hum,
a background,
blurred,
and we,
distinct.
