Daily Note

Every day, a photograph, a poem. Our daily walk today was at Crescent Bay on Lake Roosevelt where we found the sunflowers of eastern Washington still in bloom. See the buds? Seems strange, but these are amazing wild flowers.

Poetry

Flower of the Sun

Autumn arrives
Sunflowers thrive—
Blossoms still
Such strong will
These yellow beams
of summers last gleam.
