Every day, a photograph, a poem. Today on my walk in the sunshine of a cooler day, the gingko leaves carpeted the sidewalk in hues of yellow.

Cold nights
Breezy day
Yellowed leaves
Loosened;
Floating fans
Carpet the path
Every autumn
for millions
of years:
Gingko.
