Daily Note
Every day, a photograph, a poem. Today, as I pulled out of the driveway, that silly Theo, the neighbor’s cat, saunters across our roof. Theo always chooses to be higher than other neighborhood cats. He sits on the trash can, he sits on the boat, he sits on the hood of the car, and here he’s ambling across the roof of our house. We wonder how he got up there. Silly cat.
And in the window sits our cat, awaking from a cat nap, probably asking, “Who’s on the roof?”
And so a poem…
