Every day, a photograph, a poem. Yesterday I wrote about still waiting for the little purple flower, viola. Guess what? It’s here today! Spring is here! I guess it pays to write poetry because today, spring arrived with the little viola.

They heard my plea—
They popped through the leaves
to greet the spring sun
to hold the cold
And shine in purple bold!
Viola’s are here
to bring our cheer!
