Daily Note
Every day, a photograph, a poem. About the photos:
- It’s St Patrick’s Day, a favorite day. Years ago the family would gather downtown in Spokane for the St Patrick’s Day Parade. We all loved it– a totally fun parade and event. I enjoy all the different “blessings” that pop up that are Irish. I revised one of my own. Sending you blessings for this holiday!
- And I love the shamrock, and so clover, which I let grow naturally in our yard. We are even planting it in the backyard where it will grow with less water and just a bit of sun. I’m looking forward to the little leaves and some flowers growing there.
- I found a four leaf clover in my backyard in Bismarck, ND in the 1960s. I still have it!
- And today another kind of Irish blessing: our daffodils fully opened today! That is a blessing.
And so… a poem
