Daily Note
Every day, a photograph, a poem. On our walk today one bush blazed a brilliant yellow for us while all the others are barely budding. The forsythia is another early yellow bloomer in spring, along with the lovely daffodils. Though the blooms do not last long, they last long enough to bring hope and joy in the beauty of spring.
I noticed a gnat or fly on a petal, because with the good are also the irritating. We’re thankful for the beauty and tolerate the bugs– though many bugs and insects are helpful. I found at groworganic.com a list of Native Washington plants and the beneficial insects for Washington State. Washington State University Extension has a wonderful PDF of beneficial bugs. Hope that’s helpful for you.
