The Challenge
I’ve finished this week’s prompt Cozy Christmas for Shannon Mcnab’s 3×3 Sketch-Design-Repeat Challenge. This is the last of the prompts for this version of the challenge.
My Plan
I decided that birds would be my cozy characters by dressing them up in scarves, ear muffs, and stocking caps. I would make a hero illustration [above], a pattern, and a blender pattern.
I’ve started the pattern and will be finished tomorrow, but I think I will need to change one thing on this picture I don’t like. I’m going to break of the veins of two of the leaves, the ones behind the bird’s heads, because their strong diagonals are distractions from the birds. I’ll get that fixed tomorrow too. Right now, I’m ordering pizza.
