I’ve seen a few spots of these sunflowers, arrowleaf balsamroot, this year with no place to stop the car and snap a picture. They aren’t showing yet in my walking spots either. But I needed a poem and a photo, so in my library was this lovely photo of the balsamroot with white phlox.
It’s the focus of one of my favorite art pieces: Arrowleaf Balsamroot. And there will be more poems…
