Daily Note
Every day, a photograph, a poem.
This word came to mind earlier this spring: chartreuse. But I was not really sure what color that was, so I didn’t use it.
Today though I was delighted with the word as it’s color speckled the coulee wall in Cole Park in the form of budding new leaves.
I’m better at prose than poetry, it seems. Perhaps I’ll revise this haiku tomorrow with a better picture, since Guthrie is often pulling on his leash after waiting for me to get the shot ready. We love our furry friends, still.
