Inspiration
I have a friend whose upbeat attitude always helps all of us celebrate each day. Lisa Bardot in her Art Makers Club also taught a patterning class using bows as the prompt. After looking at a variety of bows, I was able to create this “bow filled” pattern just to thank my friend for putting a bow on each and every day. This collection is in my Holiday Delights Collection on Spoonflower.

After creating the red on pink bows, I then decided on dark teal, for a bit of drama and in case I needed to honor a male friend’s celebration. Next, I overlayed the bows on drawings of gifts with attached tags like, “Happy Day,” “Smile: this is for you,” “For You,” and “For My Friend” to make it generic. Finally, I added in gingham in matching colors.

I order tea towels and napkins as gifts and for myself. I’m finding more and more people like to eat with fabric napkins. They make great gifts.

Tie a bow on each of your days! Enjoy and Smile!
