September Doodle
My CLmooc friends doodle every day. Two styles today for the prompt “Science– flora and fauna’
- Science— flora and fauna in a bright style — shown above using native Procreate brushes and a Linen texture overall from Jennifer Nichols.
- Science— flora and fauna in a funky style — shown below in Lisa Bardot brushes.
I could not get the vision I had for either one, but the bright one is closest to my idea. I have a difficult time keeping things flat– I always want to add texture and dimension. I really like the top one– it’s cheerful and bright, but the one below I do not like at all. It just wasn’t clicking for me so after the pumpkin and leaves, I added a layer to the top to add the black outlines to both draw the eye away from the flawed picture and include it. I really wanted to quit, but I don’t like giving up.
That’s how it goes sometimes.
