Daily Create

Daily Create Prompt: #clmooc #DS106  #tdc3978 #dailycreate “Take a movie title, change one letter and draw a scene from the new movie. “

Whenever I am able and can connect a serious issue with art as a sort of silent action, I apply the issue to a Daily Create prompt. So today– I changed the letter of one word in a movie title– and then found a non-violent protest for an important cause: moving away from fossil fuels and protecting our water.

I found a Creative Commons 2.0 image by Backbone Campaign [ water is sacred banner best 27159177935_fc68f67af0_o ] in which Kayakers raise arms in front of banner “Water Is Sacred”— all in the water by fossil fuel site in Anacortes, WA May 2016. The description explained the protests:

protests of #BreakFree global wave of actions calling for our society to “Transition Together” towards “Energy Without Injury,” “100% Renewable Energy Now” and “No More Casualties”

And so my response is: The power of “Silence of the Limbs”
