Daily Note

Every day, a photograph, a poem. This morning I snapped this photo for #SilentSunday — Out the window on the hills giant power lines cover the sky while below the crimson of crab apples brighten the scene– all those lines power much of the West and the little red apples are fuel for the deer. It’s one of my favorite views. I missed the one of fresh snow– I’ll capture that another day, I hope.

So much to think about here — the need for power and water and food. Will we struggle together in the future years or struggle apart under a dictator favoring his own? I believe Americans want to remain the America that was founded in 1776– We are all created equal– and a government of the people. by the people, and for the people.

Out My Window In Winter

Towering above
Powering the west
giants hold the lines

Brightening below
Cheering the cold
Apples fuel the deer.
