Daily Note

Every day, a photograph, a poem. One day a while ago, I picked up my empty water glass and, right over my keyboard, glanced inside, noticing the pattern and distortion of the keyboard below. It caught my eye and so I snapped a picture of this unique view of my desk through the glass.

So today, looking for photos to inspire a poem, I paused at this photo– a different and new world view. Since it is January 1st, it seems a perfect time to think about expanding my world view to consider the world beyond these fifty states. There’s a whole planet out there to learn about– filled with people like me just moving through our days as best we can to create homes of joy and happiness.

And when we learn something new, our brains grow to expand more connections. And that’s a good thing

And so, a poem…

Grow Your Mind

In the year that is brand new
Take some time; expand world views.
