Daily Note

Every day, a photograph, a poem.

Saturday we walked through Spring Canyon, one of many parks in the Lake Roosevelt National Recreation Area.

Every step brought up sounds of memories– the splash and laughs and conversations of many family reunions— ours and so many other families in the community.

and so, a poem…

Sounds of Silence

Windswept clouds
Snow-capped hills
Leafless trees
Empty beach
Long shadows
Hint to what was
and holding
time’s
sounds
of summer
