Daily Note
Every day, a photograph, a poem. On our trip to Spokane staying at The Grand, we stayed on the tenth floor with some marvelous views. [In the Distance]. Every day we would walk by this piece of strange furniture, which I found so ugly– until the evening light of darkened clouds set the reflections of the hallway lights in motion and it seemed a new universe was born right there in the hallway. The universe– a bit of ordered chaos itself with hidden planets of beauty like our Earth. And here, in the chaos of earth, the shadows, connections, and circles try to hide the beauty of the flowers and the reflection of the piece– something I had totally missed before. Look for the beauty and find your peace.
And so, a poem…
