#MarchMake Prompt: Mind

I’ve always thought our civilization had learned to accept others who are different, to flow together in a rhythm and harmony that supports one another, accepting of differences, whatever they may be.

We are as humans a rainbow of ideas and beliefs, beautiful in the diversity, like we are free in our spirits to grow and learn in our own ways of beings. We dream and be in a rainbow of diversity to choose what we are and what we become.

Life without dreams is like a rainbow without colors.

But it seems some on this earth live in a box, each box the same, no room to become a circle or a triangle, a star, or a line. Some people might want to be a dot. But the boxes won’t allow it.

And so, the boxes are like darkness– without sight and with fear– fear of what’s out there, because, as we know, humans are curious, and so step forward towards what they wonder about, because no one is just the same. In the boxes, they close, they fear, they shut and shun.

A closed box, a closed mind is like night without day.

And how sad to live life without color and light?
