Daily Note
Every day, a photograph, a poem. Feeling better, but still weak, I look forward to sunshine. I’ve been taking slow, thirty minute walks twice a day to rebuild my strength. It’s been rainy and today it’s raining gently continuously but still feels clean and fresh to walk in. I am delighted that it’s raining, a pre-gift to sunshine, a much needed drenching in our oh-so-dry soil. And so, even in the soaking rain, I walk and thank the Creator for bringing us this wet sunshine.
Rain is Sunshine
Lovely rain, gently,
Sheri Edwards
steadily plops in puddles,
gift of wet sunshine,
soaking dry soil, seeping deep,
softening spring’s seeds to sprout.
