Every day, a photograph, a poem. I ordered more columbine since the periwinkle has overtaken them and I love Columbine in my garden— they are like little lanterns of delight. I’m going to draw another columbine for this poet, to be added later.

Atop the shapely
leaf, lantern of nature shines
its soft yellow glow.
