Daily Note
Every day, a photograph, a poem. The cat sits, alert and still on bbq chimney, watching for any movement: the hunter queen. Look at those eyes, not looking at, but looking for— any movement. She is without a doubt, both worried and determined, the champion of hunters, be it grasshopper, bee, bird, spider, mouse, rat, gopher, or you. If it movies, she follows, she waits, she watches, she strikes at just the right moment.

Best to choose a cuddly cat that loves the indoors. Sadly, mine is ADHD outside cat. But, she stays close to home in order to stay away from the many stray cats in the neighborhood.
And so, a poem:

Queen of Hunters
Listening, watching

for movement; oblivious
to all else while still.
