Daily Note

Every day, a photograph, a poem.  Another picture from our walk at the amazing Steamboat Rock. I just am amazed at those gathering thunderclouds— so huge. Steamboat Rock is one mile long, and this is just the south end. The clouds tower over it, and us. We are so small.

And so, a poem….

Poetry

Small

Look up at majestic clouds-
Gathering monuments to nature,
Overwhelming mile long basalt cliffs,
Towering above us, diminishing us,
We who are so small.
