Daily Note

Every day, a photograph, a poem. On our walk to the waterfall a few weeks ago, I snapped this picture of the lovely buttercups. Who can resist them? They are one of the first flowers of spring and delightful because of their lustrous, yellow petals that reflect their color. See how they spread underground and form little trails— on your trail! I love them.

And so, a poem…

Poetry

Buttercup

Bright yellow
Cheery fellow
Spreading along the trails

Spring color
Before others
Calling out “Spring prevails!”
