Every day, a photograph, a poem. In September, 2018, on one of our driving “adventures,” we drove down through the area of south eastern Washington state called the Palouse, stopping here at the magnificent Palouse Falls State Park:

Basalt cliffs of lava flows from millions of years ago carved out thousands of years ago in the Missoula Floods. Downstream from Palouse Falls, WA.
