Blaugust 2026 Hydrangea Hope
I love hydrangea flowers– they are delicate within large balls of color. So when Spoonflower created a Hydrangea Challenge, I jumped right in.
This art piece became a tea towel for my Hydrangea Hope Collection.
I designed this hero illustration thinking of my daughter, Heather, who takes a pile of cut flowers and arranges them into the most beautiful bouquets, often for her family and friends. This one is for her daughter’s baby shower. She has the gift of a florist’s composition skills. It is not a simple thing to do, but the thought of doing something for others and giving one’s skills for others is a simple gift.
It is the little things we do for each other that keeps hope alive.
