About Art of Others
I’ve been searching for other artist bloggers as a way to expand my thinking.
I write about these artists I’ve discovered in my blogging and artistic journey: Artist Gems. Take a look to view and enjoy their work.
Because I’m a novice artist, still learning, I learn from the work and writings of other artists, enjoying the little things that make them and their work unique. There’s a ripple effect when we appreciate and observe others at their best and as they share while they develop their work. When artists create, their work influences others: the work stirs the emotions, reflects the community and events of the day, and inspires a response, perhaps even in the viewers’ own art.
I appreciate their sharing and also the efforts behind the work and the sharing. It’s a way they give back to the community, and I’ve decided that every other week I’d share some of the gems I notice as a thank you for their willingness to share with others.
A List For You
As I sat last week looking through blogs for artists whose art just jumps out to me, I wondered what a few of those I’ve already found were up to. And then I wondered, maybe I should keep a page for the artists I’ve found who could inspire others. Hence, I created a page where I’ll keep a list of the artists from my Artist Gems posts: Artist Gems List.
And then I selected a few to see the new creations in their portfolios. Here’s what I found:
Cynthia Maniglia of Sand Salt Moon
Blog: Sand Salt Moon
I can hardly keep up with her beautiful work in her instagram: such exquisite art and designs: Lilies, pansies, ladybugs, and chocolate! Her watercolors are divine. I want to “♡” them over and over. Take a look at her Society 6 shop.
Sandra of SquareOneNotes
Blog: SquareOneNotes
I love the photography on Sandra’s blog– I sometimes just stop by to relax. I’ve set a goal again this year to take a picture, and to write a poem, each day. But my iPhone can’t do what her camera and her framing can do. Take a look!
Introverted Hermit
Blog: Introverted Hermit
I love mandalas, and here is the artist who is so creative with them, and now she shares with us on YouTube with soothing music! Subscribe to her Channel or watch a mandala creation on her Video. Of course, her ETSY shop has mandalas ready for purchase.
Bear R Humphreys
Blog: Cornish Bear Photos
Another photography whose images draw you into your own imagination of stories. Lovely photography from a place of wonderful contrast. These black and white photos send you to a place that seems to be in memory, somewhere.

You must take a look. You will escape into the wonder of his world and perhaps write a poem, story, or create some work of art that is inspired by his work.
Palm Trees and Loyalties
Blog: Palm Trees and Loyalties
I found a great post here that reminds us about Mondays: “LOOK AT EVERY MONDAY AS A BLANK PAGE.” She will change your mind about Mondays! So awesome– think about it– a blank page ready for new art adventures. And I discovered she also has a YouTube channel. Here’s a video on Arcylic Landscape. See her Red Bubble and Instagram for more delights.
More next time…
In two weeks, I’ll start another post about different artists, but I’ll always find time to keep in touch with the blogger artists who inspire others. Thank you to each of you for your sharing– it brings joy to the world. Go ahead, Take a look at more: Artist Gems List.
