a picture of a blueberry crepe-- a blueberry blitzen on a blue flowered plate: recipe and poem: Blueberry Blitzens A Family Tradition From Uncle Ron's Recipe 2:1 eggs to milk; So make it 2 eggs and 1 cup milk; Add 3 Tablespoons melted butter; Sift in 1/2-3/4 cup flour; Top with 1/2 teaspoon salt, Mix it up; Mix it thinner than pancake batter. Spread 1/4 cup batter thinly around on the bottom of a curved frying pan-- It's crepes you're making, spread it thin; Wait 'til the around the edges the crepe turns in Then flip it over to brown the other side; Pop it on a plate; spread thin with sour cream; Plop on and spread the blueberries; Sprinkle the sugar, atop the whole thing. Now roll it up, smile and sigh, Take a bite: divine--- Blitzen style. Blueberry Blitzens A family tradition Courtesy of Uncle Ron Ingredients: just a few: a bit of flour, pinch of salt, pad of butter: 2:1 of eggs to milk Mix them up, smooth as silk; Around the fry pan-let’s begin— Spread some batter very thin As the edges start turning in Flip the crepe to brown again; Plop it on a plate while warm Spread sour cream all around Top with blueberries all across A bit of sugar then you’ll toss; Now- roll it up, smile and sigh: Take a bite; “Divine!” you’ll cry!
